Bronchitis

We went to go see Dr. Baker today.

Baby man has bronchitis (for the 2nd time).  He is so sleepy from staying up for the past 3 nights, but he was a trooper and held it together long enough for me to get his prescription filled and eat lunch at Hawthorne Drugs.

I'm done mom.

Now we are back home with the first dose of meds in him.  Hopefully he will be better (and back to sleeping) soon.

We were hoping to go out for dinner and drinks with Leila and Chan to celebrate their engagement, but that did not turn out to be in the cards for us.

He sounds like Darth Vader on the baby monitor.  I suspect it will be a long night...

On Saturday we went to the YMCA in the morning for a quick workout, followed by lunch at White Tiger with Josh & Cheryl.  We love the outdoor seating and picnic tables there!

Harper is still not even trying to crawl or pull himself up on furniture...

Dad's head works well for balance.

...but he stands very well.

We keep trying to help him crawl, but he wants nothing to do with it, so for now, he stays where he is put.

Tomorrow we have a fun day planned of going to the gym, going out to lunch at White Tiger with Josh & Cheryl, going to have coffee with the Athens Cloth Diapering Group, and then to Tanner's going away party at Ernie's.  Hopefully Harper will cooperate with our plans!

Harper's 1st Swim

 Tonight we took Harper to the YMCA to go swimming for the first time.

 He LOVED the pool.  He thought floating on his belly and kicking his legs was great, and splashing mommy and daddy was even better!

I think I got some water in my ear.

We look forward to many more trips to swim at the Y.

Harper & Mommy Weekend

This weekend crazy Brian went camping in the rain so I got to spend the entire weekend with baby man.  Friday night we went to dinner at the Grit with Elizabeth, Alex, & Grayson.  Saturday morning we went to the YMCA so I could go to spin class and then came home for breakfast and a nap.

That afternoon we went to Full Bloom's open house for story time.  Harper was wiped out by the time we got home.

Brian came home on Sunday and Harper was very happy so see his daddy.
